Business Operations Research Specialist

Use quantitative data and analysis to identify shortcomings in current procedures and develop solutions for streamlining business operations and processes across all of the company's hotels. Collect data on current business procedures from the company database and gather information including the company's sales history, current operation processes, and resource allocation. Provide support to both internal and offshore teams by analyzing and streamlining complex business processes and systems specific to hotel operations, such as reservation systems, property management systems (PMS), and guest service workflows. Deliver detailed business analytic reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in hotel performance metrics, such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR). Identify and address system design flaws that contribute to inefficiencies and human errors, proposing alternative processes to mitigate these issues, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness and reliability of the systems in place. Oversee the implementation of established solutions in the company's business procedures and operations. Establish and implement short and long-term goals and objectives to ensure that projects are successfully completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Continuously monitor and report on the business operations and processes to identify ways to improve efficiency. Stay abreast of the latest hotel industry trends to incorporate more efficient and effective solutions in the company's business operations. 

Requirements

The position requires two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in Operations Analysis, Power BI, Stakeholder Communication, Smartsheets, and MS Office.
