April 20, 2007-Courtyard By Marriott at the Louisiana Boardwalk

Kalthia Group Hotels has been granted the license to build a Courtyard By Marriott at the Louisiana Boardwalk.

Ground breaking should begin within 120 days on a beautiful and unique 130 guest room/suite hotel with modern guest room amenities that one could expect form a Courtyard by Marriott, including the new bedding package designed for vacation or business travelers. Other features that the hotel will provide are an outdoor pool, hot tub, and courtyard private to hotel guest, as well as, Courtyard’s new “24 Hour Market”. The hotel will also feature a hot and cold breakfast, exercise room, meeting room, lounge, guest laundry, and business center.

Holiday Inn Downtown has become the #1 ranked hotel in its “Geo Group” for “Overall Satisfaction” for the first time this month. The OSAT scores are based on surveys taken by guests that stayed at the hotel and who’s scores help measure the success of the hotels service performance. The Holiday Inn Downtown’s Geo Group consists of all Holiday Inn Hotels in Louisiana, excluding New Orleans.
